About the Director
Lungnan Isak Fangas is one of the few aboriginal film directors in
Taiwan. He began to make documentaries after receiving a BA in Sociology from
National Taiwan University in 1999. He receive a MFA in the Film Production Program
of Radio-TV-Film Department at the University
of Texas at Austin in 2009. His past works have focused
on a variety of topics and speak for aboriginal people. In 2004, his Ocean Fever won both the Judge and
Audience Awards in the Taipei Film Festival. In 2009, He presents his latest
work Who Is Singing There.
